Dr Darshan Kothari is an established Paediatric & Fetal Cardiologist in Perth with over 20 years’ experience in treating children of all ages with congenital and acquired heart disease.
Dr Kothari graduated and completed his degree in Paediatrics from The University of Mumbai, India. He subsequently subspecialised in the field of Paediatric & Fetal Cardiology having worked in multiple countries across different hospitals: KK Women’s and Children’s hospital in Singapore, The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland and The Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide.
Darshan has made Perth his home since 2008 and works at The Perth Children’s Hospital (previously known as Princess Margaret Hospital) & King Edward Memorial Hospital. He is the Director & Head of The Fetal Cardiology service in Western Australia.
He also consults privately through Perth Paediatrics across multiple locations in West Leederville, Riverton and Joondalup. Dr Kothari is a visiting specialist to the St John of God hospitals in Subiaco & Murdoch, Joondalup Health care campus and Fiona Stanley Hospital. He also provides private Fetal Cardiology services via Aurora Imaging in Subiaco.
Dr Kothari provides prompt appointments to evaluate and treat children from birth to 16 years of age presenting with murmurs, chest pains, fainting/syncope, palpitations and/or any other underlying cardiac issues related to children.
